I'm Josh, a sound designer based in Vancouver, Canada. From a young age, I've been captivated by how audio influences our emotions and experiences. Growing up, immersing myself in movies and games felt like stepping into another world. While I considered a career in engineering due to my analytical nature, my passion for audio won out. I began my creative journey building models for the defence industry and studying music. My fascination with military history and technology has always been a significant influence. I spent time as a session guitarist and later ventured into music production, collaborating with labels like Universal and Sony. Over the years, I've recorded, produced, and mixed numerous singles for a variety of talented artists. Eager to expand my horizons, 7 years ago, I delved into film composition and sound design for games. This diverse background allows me to craft punchy, dynamic sounds that resonate with real-life experiences. I'm always up for a good challenge, eager to learn more and excited to see where this sonic journey takes me next.
